Charitable restauranteur and Chef Anthony Myint is the founder of several restaurants in the Mission district of San Francisco and New York City.
He is known as a pioneer of the charitable restaurant industry, often donating profits to charities. Widely recognised as a game changer in the industry, Anthony dedicates himself to exploring issues around the environment, food and sustainability. His newest restaurant, The Perennial, champions progressive farming and is a joint venture with wife Karen Leibowitz and fellow restaurateur Chris Kiyuna while his current stable of restaurants include Mission Street Food, Mission Chinese Food, Mission Cantina, Mission Burger, Lt. Waffle and Commonwealth Restaurant.
He has been recognised by several online and print publications, notably named among Food & Wine Magazine’s ‘Top 40 under 40’ big thinkers in the food industry in 2010.
