Callum Hann                

Barossa born and raised

Callum, who co-founded Sprout in 2011, was born in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. 

Callum was runner up in the 2010 series of MasterChef and the winner of MasterChef All Stars in 2012. After coming 2nd in 2010 Callum was determined to soak up as much culinary knowledge as he could and commenced working with George Colombaris at various Melbourne eateries. After his time in Melbourne Callum travelled around Australia teaching university students valuable cooking skills. In 2012, he released his first cookbook "The Starter Kitchen", and in 2014 released his second cookbook, "I'd Eat That!".

Callum is passionate about cooking and loves sharing his experiences with others at Sprout classes. “I’m about making cooking fun - it breaks my heart when people see cooking as a chore. I hope to make Sprout an enjoyable experience, and hopefully people will have a great time and pick up skills along the way.”

Callum is also a host of Channel Seven's SA Life, Chief Taste Officer at Thankyou Co. food, and an ambassador for the Cancer Council and Market Fresh SA.
