Amy Hamilton

Amy started her career working with WA Chef Russell Blaikie at Perth’s acclaimed Must Wine Bar and worked with Riccardo Momesso in Melbourne at SOS. In 2007 she returned to WA and settled in Albany buying Liberté a Parisian inspired bar inside the historic London Hotel championing local produce of the Great Southern region.

Since opening Liberté, Amy has put Albany on the foodie map, with an imaginative menu of French-Vietnamese inspired dishes set among a unique and character filled dining experience. Having won several awards Amy was most recently recognized with One Hat in the 2018 Australian Good Food Guide and third best regional restaurant as voted by Gourmet Traveller in their 2018 Restaurant Guide.
