Co-owner of Casa Carboni cooking school and wine bar in Angaston, Matteo Carboni relocated from Northern Italy to the Barossa in 2012 with wife and business partner Fiona.
Matteo was excited by the palate of the Barossa, and is continually inspired by visits to the Barossa Farmers’ Markets each Saturday morning. He and Fiona have forged strong relationships with local farmers to ensure they keep a connection to the produce through seasonality and locality, and staying true to their philosophy of sharing good food in good company.
