A Barossan through and through, Andrews is as much a staple of the iconic landscape as the wine is of his current residence, Seppeltsfield Estate.
Working his way up the chain of command, Andrews interest in the kitchen was born through involvement in making the family’s supply of olive oil, chutneys and tomato relish. Since starting his apprenticeship at age 16, Andrews has worked in and led kitchens around the state including Universal Wine Bar and Café Harvesters. Today Andrews is one of the State’s most respected interpreters of regional flavour. In 2016, Andrews was recognised as Best Venue Caterer at the Restaurant and Catering Awards, and he also received a five plate rating from the same organization – the highest ranking possible.
