Unleash your mind. Explore the magical mystery world of The Cube at d’Arenberg for one evening of extravagant decadence.

This gala event will be reminiscent of the Rothschild Surrealist Ball where guests including Salvador Dali and Audrey Hepburn explored the boundaries of their imagination.

This will be the first major event at The Cube following its opening in December 2017, since which more than 1000 people have visited daily. The Cube is an architectural and creative masterpiece, combining five floors of design, artistic expression and impressive food and wine. The restaurant could easily be described as a laboratory – a place where experimentation and innovation is pushed to the limit by chefs Brendan Wessels and Lindsay Durr – but the food presented is packed with flavour and has the warmth of familiar hug.

The Alternate Realities Museum showcases a series of mind-bending installations, from the entryway to the elevators. Enjoy the best views of McLaren Vale’s rolling vineyards from the top level balconies and see The Cube come to life at night with digital projections illuminating the glass exterior.

Discover, be inspired and be amazed by the delicious d’Arenberg wines and creative snacks prepared by Wessels and Durr in collaboration with three Michelin-starred chef Norbert Niederkofler (St Hubertus, Italy) and Melbourne’s leading creative chef and ‘inciting agent’ Shaun Quade (Lûmé).

Guests are encouraged to dress to theme: think elegant glamour meets mind-bending detail. Gowns, formal and cocktail attire welcome plus a touch of something extraordinary. Be free to explore the impossible.
