Stellar South Australian seafood and wine will star in a 10-course degustation at Adelaide’s Arkaba Hotel.
Head chef Anthony Donehue is ready to source the very best ocean fare: think freshly-shucked Coffin Bay oysters, Spencer Gulf prawns, South Australian blue swimmer crabs and kingfish. You’ll begin the night with two cocktail-style courses before being seated for the remaining eight, with individual cheese platters to be served as a final flourish. Hook and Vine is a partnership between the Arkaba and Oatley Fine Wine Merchants; each course will be paired with matched South Australian wines from top producers. Enjoy bottles from the Barossa’s Hentley Farm, Adelaide Hills estate The Lane, the Clare Valley’s Pikes, McLaren Vale winery Gemtree and Langhorne Creek label Bremerton. Representatives from Hentley Farm and The Lane will also attend Hook and Vine to talk wines and share stories with guests.
