Masters of their Craft will feature a five-course set menu with matched spirits from Renmark’s Twenty Third Street Distillery. Relish the region’s exceptional produce in dishes from Head Chef, who will discuss each course with guests. The Head Distiller will also speak. Twenty Third Street is the new incarnation of a century-old landmark. It was built by the Barossa’s Chateau Tanunda in 1914 to take advantage of the burgeoning Riverland harvest; about 130 local growers later purchased the facilities and established a cooperative. The distillery ceased production in 2002, but was revived in 2016 and is today fuelled by fresh creative passion. Its range — which includes gin, brandy, whisky and vodka — draws on Riverland produce such as citrus and even petals from fellow local tourism destination Ruston’s Roses. Twenty Third Street’s single malt whisky won gold at the World Whisky Awards 2019.
