Go underground for a tour and wine tasting at one of the Barossa’s oldest estates before surfacing for an indulgent three-course lunch.
Saltram, near Angaston, was established in 1859 and proudly celebrates Barossa tradition and heritage. You’ll begin this Tasting Australia experience with a tasting of Saltram premium wines followed by a tour of the winery’s cellar: a place every bit as magical and mysterious as you imagine. It’s in the cool depths that you’ll taste Mr Pickwick’s tawny and gather in for a ghost story or two. A lunch table will be ready and waiting once you’re back in the daylight. Savour the atmosphere of Salter’s Kitchen and its views over the rose garden. Seasonal Barossa ingredients star here, indulge in a 3 course lunch along with a glass of wine.
