Experience the ultimate luxury escape with a decadent wine dinner and overnight stay at the historic Mount Lofty House. This is a not-to-be-missed overnight adventure in dazzling five-star accommodation atop the hill with uninterrupted views of the Piccadilly Valley.

You'll check in at 2pm and begin your experience with an optional two-hour walk along the Heysen TRAIL, accompanied by a forager and local expert in the area's unique flora. If you prefer to enjoy the comfort of your room, settle in at your leisure and gather at the Sequoia's Escarpment at 5.30pm to meet host LIINAA Berry - Mount Lofty House wine director - and the South Australian wine producers whose fare will feature in the evening's meal.

Hardy's Verandah executive chef Jin Choi will present a menu that incorporates ingredients from neighbouring farms and seafood producers including Mayura Station, Gazander Oysters and Fairfish SA.
It will be matched to limited-release iconic South Australian wines which will be served blind next to their Victorian counterparts. Expect an entertaining taste off with option games and explore how to unfold blind wines.

With some South Australian producers in attendance, you'll be able to have first hand information and access to some limited-release wines matched by a menu thoughtfully created by Choi and expertly paired by wine presenter and sommelier Liinaa Berry.

With an oyster station and a glass of the highly awarded Daosa Reserve Sparkling on arrival and the nephew of Lily Bollinger present, the dinner will showcase eight wines over five courses and conclude at 10.30pm.
