SOUTH AUSTRALIAN PRODUCERS WERE AMONG THE BEST OF THE BEST AT THE DELICIOUS. HARVEY NORMAN PRODUCE AWARDS, WITH FOUR GOLD MEDALLISTS AND A TROPHY WINNER ANNOUNCED FROM THE STATE.
Ngeringa Produce Biodynamic Salad Greens in the Adelaide Hills were a gold medallist in the From the Earth category.
The produce from Ngeringa’s farm – cared for by Andy Taylor – has been used in Tasting Australia’s very own Glasshouse Kitchens and by the likes of our Programming Director Jock Zonfrillo at his restaurants.
Coming From the Paddock were gold medals for Mayura Station’s Full-blood Wagyu Beef and Saskia Beer’s Farm Produce Chicken.
Guests may recall flying to Mayura Station in 2018 and 2019 as part of the exclusive Tasting Australia Airlines experience.
From the Sea, we saw the Blue Swimmer Crab from Two Gulfs Crab awarded a gold.
Recognised as an Outstanding Viticulturalist was Melissa Brown from Gemtree Wines.
And the state’s picturesque Willunga Farmers Market was awarded the trophy for Outstanding Farmers’ Market.
Across four major categories (From the Dairy, From the Earth, From the Paddock and From the Sea), a total of 17 awards with 16 trophies and 30 gold medals were presented.
