Did you love our 10 Day Itinerary but need something a bit briefer? Got a weekend to spare and looking for a schedule of culinary delights?

You’re in luck. We’ve compiled not one but TWO weekend itineraries for you, one for each weekend of our festival, to help you build out the perfect weekend adventure.

Here is our Weekend 1 itinerary, helping you plan your experiences between Friday the 30th April and Sunday the 2nd May.



The Mawson Lakes hotel can help kick your weekend of treats off with their Vegan Night Out. Featuring three courses of vegan goodness, the Executive Chef at the Mawson Lakes Hotel will showcase the very best produce that South Australia has to offer with your choice of entrée and main plus a decadent dessert platter.



Take a short trip to the Barossa for Saltram’s Underground Tour & Tasting with a 3 Course Lunch on Saturday. You'll begin this Tasting Australia experience with a tasting of Saltram premium wines followed by a tour of the winery's cellar: a place every bit as magical and mysterious as you imagine. It's in the cool depths that you'll taste Mr Pickwick's tawny and gather in for a ghost story or two. A lunch table will be ready and waiting once you're back in the daylight, with a 3 course lunch along with a glass of wine.

For a light dinner option after your day of feasting, we suggest you head into Town Square. Peruse our vendor food options and pick up a nibble or two whilst settling in with friends in front of a cosy fire, soaking up the atmosphere and vibes of Town Square. A long lunch in McLaren Vale is a Tasting Australia must. Indulge with the Angove family in the heart of their historic Warboys Vineyard, home to some of the wine region's oldest vines, at the Long Lunch Amongst the Organic Vines with the Angove Family. Start your day on the sprawling lawns of the Angove McLaren Vale Cellar Door with a glass of sparkling, before taking a seat in the fully enclosed courtyard for a long lunch, highlighting locally sourced and foraged ingredients from surrounding areas. Take time for yourself and drink in the views as you complete your weekend adventure.
