Here is our Weekend 2 itinerary, helping you plan your experiences between Friday the 7th and Sunday the 9th of May.

FRIDAY 7TH MAY

—KANGAROO ISLAND

Kick of your three day adventure with a day trip to Kangaroo Island including return air transfer and ground transport. Experience a long lunch in one of Kangaroo Island’s most private and exclusive homesteads with the Oceanview Eco Villas Kangaroo Island Producers Lunch, offering an intimate setting with coastal views spanning far over Nepean Bay. Soak in the surroundings as you enjoy five courses featuring the very best island produce!

SATURDAY 8TH MAY

—ADELAIDE

Base yourself in the CBD on Saturday and explore a variety of beverage tasting opportunities.

Start at 11am at the Masterclass Pavilion in Town Square for the East End Cellars Masterclass: Future Farmers - Biodynamic Winegrowing. Join leading South Australian, national and international winemakers as they showcase best practice sustainability farming methods and 12 stellar wines in this immersive masterclass.

Grab a bite to eat from one of our Town Square food vendors before heading to the Leigh Street Wine Room for The Tasting Table: Che Syrah. Two young guns with a passion for cool climate shiraz, Melanie Chester and Michael Downer, are joining forces to share their exceptional wares. Celebrate great young South Australian winemakers as we turn the spotlight to shiraz for this eight-wine tasting.

Head back to Town Square that evening to complete your Saturday with dinner, drinks and good atmosphere. You might even choose to join in the East End Cellars Masterclass: Gold Medal Whisky at 8pm to top the day off with a night cap. Discover the diverse styles Australian whisky is now being made in, and how producers are managing to achieve impressively high quality in each with a selection of the top-ranked whiskies from the 2020 Tasting Australia Spirit Awards presented by Master Cask.

SUNDAY 9TH MAY

—BAROSSA

Enjoy a relaxed and indulgent Sunday after your busy start to the weekend with Satram's Underground Tour & Tasting. You'll begin this Tasting Australia experience with a tasting of Saltram premium wines followed by a tour of the winery's cellar: a place every bit as magical and mysterious as you imagine. It's in the cool depths that you'll taste Mr Pickwick's tawny and gather in for a ghost story or two. A lunch table will be ready and waiting once you're back in the daylight, with a 3 course lunch along with a glass of wine.
