Alex Munoz Labart

Mid 2018 Alex made the sea change from Sydney to Queensland, opening his flagship restaurant Labart in Burleigh Heads. Alex’s ethos for his restaurant is sustainability, seasonality and simplicity and to make people happy in a relaxed atmosphere.

Before moving to the coast, Alex spent time at some of Sydney’s top restaurants including Marque and Est and more recently as Head Chef at well-known Sydney venues Monopole and Cirrus Dining, both awarded Chefs Hats during his time.
