Born in Provence, after studying international law in Aix en Provence then obtaining a Master degree in international trade & marketing, Guy started his career in international banking; he thus complemented his knowledge of corporate finance and management.
He acquired a first taste of working abroad, living in Melbourne –Australia- as a banker for 3 years in the mid-80. His job took him to travel to Japan and other countries in Asia as well as the U.S.A. then.
Back in France, he joined the champagne industry where he still is now.
Prior to joining Bollinger in early 2011, Guy enjoyed different international management positions at the head-office of some champagne houses of the LVMH group (Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Dom Perignon & Moet).
In the early 90’s in lived in Sydney –Australia- to run a Veuve Clicquot affiliate for 3 years.
He also worked with Louis Vuitton Japan to help them taking on the Champagne brand distributorship into Japan.
Guy enjoys dealing in multicultural environments. He has acquired a solid experience at international level in the field of sales and marketing management of champagne.
Travelling around the world, for nearly 4 decades, he has witnessed with fascination the fast-changing environment that prevails there.
Besides a temptative epicurean life including the enjoyment of fine food & wines, Guy is found of sporting events, in particular motor racing, rugby union and cricket (a sport he fell in love with whilst leaving in Australia).
