Janghoon Choi

Executive Chef at +82 restaurant group, Mr. Janghoon Choi was born in Seoul in Korea. After having studied Tourism in Korea, he moved to Australia to continue his culinary education at "Le cordon bleu”(Sydney) , where he graduated in Advanced Culinary Arts and obtained a distinction in hot kitchen, larder, pastry and F&B management. After finishing his studies, Janghoon worked in several restaurants in different cuisine to get variety cooking experience. He continued his education in Adelaide and obtained a Bachelor of International Restaurant Management. He continued his career in the Australia, Canada and Korea where he worked at high quality restaurants and hotels. After years of travel, he came back to Adelaide at the age of 34. And he opened Plus 82 Pocha with other partners and he became Head chef of the restaurant, in Adelaide CBD. He has been recognised on many media outlets as the chef with a new trend with Korean cuisine such as new papers and magazines. A year after Plus82 Pocha has been established, Plus 82 restaurant group has now opened 3 more venues which are LITE, MIMI and GOGI.
