Two of South Australia’s celebrated luxury lodges – The Louise in the Barossa and the team behind the soon-to-be-rebuilt Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island - are coming together to present a one-off long Sunday lunch event.
Bringing the best of the Barossa and Kangaroo Island to the plate are Kyle Johns, executive chef of The Louise, and his Southern Ocean Lodge counterpart Thomas Saliba. The duo will join forces to curate and present a moveable feast, highlighting some of the state’s finest food and wine producers.
Relish a long lunch like no other in the idyllic grounds of The Louise as you get hands-on and stroll through its carefully tended kitchen garden. Enjoy market-style grazing, oyster shucking, honey tastings and limited wine vintages before sitting back to feast on a six-course degustation menu, matched with local wines.
This is the ultimate foodie celebration.
