You’ll dine at The Line & Label, the on-site restaurant at award-winning Peter Teakle Wines. Settle in for five courses prepared with the best local produce, much of it sourced on site. Wines made from estate-grown grapes will be matched with each dish, with local gin and beer selections featuring too.

Executive chef Mark Jensen and his team regularly forage in the vegetable garden and greenhouse for herbs and edible flowers, among the touches that ensure dishes from The Line & Label stand out. This Tasting Australia event promises a true paddock to plate experience.

Jensen, who began his career in London working under some of the UK’s most respected chefs, has attained coveted chef hat recognition in four restaurants – including two hats at Marco Polo for three years running by Australian Good Food followed by two hats at Spicers Peak Lodge.

Mark went on to earn one chef hat at Tamarind restaurant and two chef hats at Pebble Beach before relocating to Port Lincoln in mid-2021 for the role of Executive Chef at The Line & Label at Peter Teakle Wines.

The Peter Teakle Wines Cellar Door is a must for visitors. It’s nestled among vineyards and offers guided tasting experiences exploring the influence of Port Lincoln’s maritime climate and the moderate Mediterranean summers it enjoys. Guests can also visit the kitchen garden and wander down to stroll among 250 planted fruit trees.

Peter Teakle Wines was the first winery on the Eyre Peninsula and is helping it gain recognition as another of South Australia’s renowned wine regions.
