Guests will start in the oyster shed, learning about the species’ life cycle and local oyster farming direct from a farmer. Travel across the bay aboard the oyster punt, then disembark to the ocean viewing platform for a delicious breakfast of oysters, fruit, pastries and sparkling wine. The oyster lease captain will share insights into this fascinating shellfish and its production on the Eyre Peninsula.
Smoky Bay has emerged as Australia’s oyster capital and is found just south of Ceduna. SA Premium Oysters sells its plump delicacies locally and also wholesales to retailers and restaurants state-wide.
