Fodor's Travel celebrates Tasting Australia
Fodor's Travel have named Tasting Australia as one of the most exciting food festivals to experience in the world!
In an article on their website, the travel bible listed the South Australian food and beverage festival as a "robust 10-day program" featuring many of "the state's food and wine highlights."
Of note were the Glasshouse Kitchens in Town Square and Tasting Australia Airlines, as well as the wide range of regional experiences you can try, both of which are back in the program in 2019!
Fodor's also named South Australia as home to some of Australia's best beverages and produce, all of which can be easily experienced through Tasting Australia through events such as our premium wine experiences and the East End Cellars Masterclass series.
"Home to some of Australia’s most prominent wine-growing regions, wide swaths of the Outback and such biodiverse destinations as Kangaroo Island and the Limestone Coast, it would feasibly take months (or even years) to explore the reaches of South Australia's gastronomy and viticulture—not to mention its many scenic regions," the article says.
Of the 12 listed - including Venice Food & Wine Festival and New York City Wine & Food Festival - Tasting Australia was the first to be listed in the article and the only festival in the Southern Hemisphere to feature.
