A decadent walk down memory lane of the Pheasant Farm Restaurant and beyond it will be an evening to remember, marking Maggie's final year as patron for Tasting Australia. As always with Maggie, produce is the star, and her menu will be a tribute to the full flavours and time-honoured skills the much-loved author, TV host, restaurateur and cook sets as her benchmark.
Praised for her generosity in both food and life, Maggie is one of the country’s most prolific food identities. Without a background of formal training, Maggie found her life’s passion when she and husband Colin moved to the Barossa to establish the family farm. Driven to make the most of the Barossa’s abundance, Maggie’s now famous philosophy was ignited, by always using what was at hand, and never letting anything go to waste.
