Celebrate World Gin Day with these three fancy and extremely tasty Gin recipes thanks to Kangaroo Island Spirits!
Mulberry ‘Sangria’
Ingredients:
90ml KIS Mulberry Gin
45ml Orange Liqueur (either KIS Zenzerino or Cointreau)
250ml - 350ml of Dry Ginger Ale
250ml - 350ml Prosecco
Garnish: berries, mint and sliced orange
Method:
Add Mulberry Gin and Orange Liqueur into a carafe.
Top with Dry Ginger Ale and Prosecco.
Add a minimal amount of ice to the carafe and stir to combine.
Fill lowball or wine glasses with ice and garnish with berries, mint and sliced orange
Passionfruit Gin Spritz
Ingredients:
45ml KIS Wild Gin
45ml passionfruit syrup (canned passionfruit in syrup is perfect!)
Juice of one lime
110ml Soda water
Garnish: half a fresh passionfruit or a slice of fresh or dehydrated lime.
Method:
Fill a large balloon or wine glass with ice.
Then add Wild Gin, passionfruit syrup and the lime juice.
Top with soda water and stir to combine.
Garnish with half a fresh passionfruit or a slice of fresh or dehydrated lime.
Wild Fennel Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
30ml KIS Whisky Barrel Aged Gin
15ml KIS Honey and Walnut Liqueur
15ml KIS Anisette
15ml Black Coffee
15ml Honey Syrup (1 tablespoon of honey diluted by hot water)
Garnish: coffee beans and star anise
Method:
In a cocktail shaker, combine Whisky Barrel Aged Gin, Honey & Walnut Liqueur, Anisette
black coffee and honey syrup.
Fill with ice and shake for 1 minute.
Strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass.
Garnish with coffee beans and a star anise.
