Andrew Kenny (‘Kenny’) has been working in the wine industry for 13+ years, growing his passion year by year. After completing his studies in Viticulture and Oenology, Andrew moved to the Clare Valley region, stumbling upon Riesling country, working under the tutelage of Neil Pike in Polish Hill River for 11 years. Beyond the Valley, Andrew has travelled to many parts of the world to explore the difference in wine & winemaking techniques. His second home, now being Weingut Gabel in the Pfalz Region of Germany where he gets to explore a new style and appreciation of Riesling.
Back home in the Clare Valley, Andrew now embarks on his own journey with Wife, Victoria, to build their brand Kenny Wine. The kenny wine brand, focuses on producing high quality wines from single sites, highlighting vineyard and vintage variation,.
In recent years, Andrew has been humbled to receive many accolades in the industry, including, Clare Valley’s Rising Star (awarded every 10 years), Young Gun of Wine Vigneron of 2024, DUX of the 53rd AWAC group. He continues to work hard, educating himself with old & new world wines and vineyard practices. Continually learning, adapting and growing with the wine industry.
