Town Square FAQ's & Key Information

Yes, entry to Town Square is free.

Town Square is open to all ages. However, anyone aged 16 years or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. For more information, please read the code of practice and code of practice guidelines.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The purchase and consumption of alcohol is restricted to over 18s. Identification may be requested and checked.

UPark

Prebook parking from just $8 at UPark Topham or UPark Grote and enjoy all that Town Square has to offer. UPark is proudly owned and operated by the City of Adelaide, so each time you park your car at UPark, you help local events to thrive. Secure your spot by visiting UPark.

Free City Connector Bus

Take advantage of the free City Connector bus, offering a hop-on and hop-off service to the city and North Adelaide linking popular city attractions, shopping, dining and key destinations. Bus route 98A and 98C connect North Adelaide with the city, and 99A and 99C connect the inner-city. Services operate every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends. Taxi or Ride Share

The closest taxi or ride share drop-off point is at the Hilton Hotel.

Town Square patrons will have the option to have their dishes served on a reusable enamel Tasting Australia plate. This eco-friendly alternative to disposable will help to reduce waste and supports environmental awareness.  

People can simply let the participating Town Square vendor know they would like their dish served on an enamel plate and once the dish is finished, swap the dirty plate for a clean one at the exit.  

All other serving ware in Town Square is biodegradable. 

Pets are amazing and we love them as much as you. For everyone's safety and comfort, however, only assistance animals are permitted in Town Square and all Tasting Australia events. Thanks for your understanding.

Tasting Australia is an inclusive and welcoming event. We want everyone to experience the festival and are committed to making Tasting Australia accessible for all.

Town Square, situated in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga is accessible for people in wheelchairs. This includes all events held in Good Neighbour and the Drinks Academy.
