Charlie is a Senior Winemaker for the Randall Wine Group based in McLaren Vale & Co-Owner of Paralian Wines with his wife and fellow winemaker, Skye Salter.
Having worked vintages across the world learning & helping make Chardonnay in places like Hawkes Bay, Adelaide Hills, Sonoma and Napa Valleys plus Burgundy for 21 years now, his underlying passion in wine is Chardonnay... and more in particular, White Burgundy.
From Chablis to St Aubin, Puligny Montrachet to Corton Charlemagne, Meursault Perrieres to Chevalier Montrachet... Charlie is deeply fascinated by producer, vineyard, season and approach to the end result. No other variety has given him more intrigue and pleasure in life than Chardonnay.
