Corrina Wright has wine – and 171 years of family grape growing – flowing through her veins. Described as a ‘legend in the making’ by WBM Magazine and as part of a ‘remarkable dynasty’ by James Halliday, Wright is now treading a slightly different path among the vines that her forefathers planted in McLaren Vale.
Passionate about her home, wine industry and local community, she has also served on the boards of the McLaren Vale Grape, Wine & Tourism Association, the Australian Society of Viticulture & Oenology and the Winemakers Federation of Australia. She is currently part of the Australian Women in Wine advisory board, an Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) board member and president of the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show. Wright is also a Len Evans scholar and was awarded the ASVO Winemaker of the Year in 2019 and Family Business Australia’s inaugural Leading Women in Family Business Award in 2021.
