Daniel Puskas is an acclaimed Australian chef and restaurateur, best known as the owner of the three-hatted Sydney fine dining restaurant Sixpenny. He recently expanded his portfolio by becoming a co-owner of the revitalized Hungarian institution Corner75 in Randwick.
In 2025, Puskas who has Hungarian heritage, and his wife Alice Tremayne partnered with the team of Baba's Place to take over Corner 75, a beloved Hungarian restaurant in Randwick that had been operating for over 40 years. This venture is a "preservation project" for Puskas, allowing him to explore his roots while honouring the restaurant's legacy and community ties, serving revitalized classics like lángos and Chicken Paprikash. The revitalized restaurant was named the prestigious Restaurant of the Year by the SMH Good Food Guide 2026
