Ev is a spirits blender and widely respected hospitality operator whose career spans bars, retail, distilling and dining rooms across Melbourne, Sydney and now Adelaide.
After cutting her teeth in Melbourne’s hospo scene - including time at venues like the iconic Lee Ho Fook and Whisky & Alement, her spirits training ground - Ev’s curiosity for flavour pulled her deeper into the world of spirits. That fascination eventually led her to Archie Rose Distilling Co., where she joined the sensory team as a spirit’s blender, working across whisky, rum, vodka and gin, and developing a deep love for the craft of blending, cask character and the alchemy between data and palate.
Along the way she’s become a recognised voice in the Australian drinks community, serving as Panel Chair for the Rum category at the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards and later joining the advisory group as the awards evolved into the Australian International Spirits Awards. She has also been recognised in Good Food as one of the women helping reshape the industry.
In 2025 she stepped away from blending and relocated to Adelaide in 2026 - drawn by family, festivals and a thriving hospo scene. You’ll now find her across projects at Adelaide Fringe, moonlighting at Golden Boy, and continuing to follow her lifelong obsession with flavour wherever it leads.
