Jess DiGiorgio is the winemaker and founder of Bande Apart, a small label dedicated to cool-climate expressions of lesser-known French grape varieties including Aligoté, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Meunier and Savagnin.  

Originally from South Australia’s Limestone Coast, Jess is currently based in the Yarra Valley. There, she has worked with leading producers Mount Mary, Oakridge Wines and Seville Estate where she recently joined the team as Winemaker. Her style is light-handed yet precise, crafting energetic, terroir-led wines that reflect site, variety and vintage.
