Jimmy Toone is a born and bred Adelaidean, whose interest in food and hospitality have taken him all over the world. After years in the Savoie region of France and the Nagano region of Japan, Jimmy came home to Adelaide to be Head Chef of the award-winning Salopian Inn – a McLaren Vale institution.
Together with partner Jo Leal, Jimmy established Secret Pasta Club – the follow-up to the uber-popular Secret Pizza Club – which has become a cult favourite and smash hit among Adelaide foodies.
2025 was a big year for Jimmy and Jo as they took over ownership of Aldinga institution, Fall From Grace, notably expanding and reimagining its culinary offering. Since opening in July, Fall From Grace has received rave reviews, their pizza and pasta nights are consistently sold out, and the community at large has responded with open arms. Jimmy brings his laid-back charisma, a genuine enthusiasm for food and for feeding people to this new venture. Together with partner Jo, their unmistakable warmth, generosity, expertise and attention to detail has established Fall From Grace as a place to watch, but more importantly a place to go for good food, good wine, and great people.
