Tasting Australia Airlines - Eyre Peninsula

Sat 16th May 2026 at 7:00 AM

Price $1245

You could stay in the city. Look at photos. See a story and keep scrolling. But then you would miss this: a dream seafood-driven adventure on the Eyre Peninsula. Go to the source in all its wild glory, exploring ocean and the salt-swept landscapes beyond. We’ve sorted the details. Your only task is to be here, revelling in the remote. Tasting Australia Airlines is taking off once again.

Depart from Adelaide and fly to Port Lincoln, where two of the region’s top experiences await. Guests will spend time on board the MFV Tacoma, a fully restored 1950s tuna poling boat, learning from generational owner Ross Haldane as local chef Kerri Lawson leads a tuna filleting demonstration. Devour ultra-fresh sashimi while enjoying a guided tasting of Lincoln Estate wines, to be paired with additional snacks.

It seems only fitting that lunch is a seafood spectacle. Consider it done – a meal to be hosted beachside at the Coffin Bay Yacht Club. It’s the kind of place where hours slip by, boats puttering to the horizon as light shifts across water. On the pans: Ben Devlin, chef and co-owner of the lauded Pipit in northern New South Wales, together with South Australian star Jimmy Toone – former head chef at McLaren Vale’s Salopian Inn and now wowing crowds at Fall From Grace in Aldinga.

Hidden sanctuary Yarnbala will feature during the afternoon. Found within a critically endangered ecosystem, its offerings are grounded in regenerative practices and inspired by family spirit. Discover this very special place alongside founder Kane Slater, with snacks from proud Bundjalung chef Mindy Woods, chef-owner of Byron Bay restaurant Karkalla. This year Woods became the first Australian named a Champion of Change by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards – an honour in recognition of her commitment to native ingredients and driving community change through food.

Out of office. Offline. Need proof that even one day’s escape can be transformative? It’s here.
