Spain tells stories with heart, and for her efforts was named Wine Communicators of Australia’s 2021 Wine Communicator of the Year and won the award for best published feature or column. In 2022 she was named 2022 Best Rural Journalist – Print in the Rural Media Communicator Awards. She is a former dairy girl and wears colour (always), glitter (nearly always) and enjoys nothing more than a long chinwag with interesting people. If she’s not tapping away at a keyboard, you’ll usually find her exploring rural op-shops in her vintage caravan Charlie.
