Max Veenhuyzen is a food, drink and travel journalist and photographer that lives on Whadjuk Nyoongar country in Perth, Western Australia. He contributes to key Australian titles and publications including Gourmet Traveller, Broadsheet, Good Food, SBS and The Guardian.

In 2019, Veenhuyzen established Armour & Haloes, a food and music think tank that explores the space where food and music - his other big passion - intersect. He is also a bit of a train geek and is very, very excited about being able to host the inaugural Tasting Australia by Train journey between two of his favourite Australian cities: Melbourne and Adelaide.
