Rachel Signer is the author of two books on natural wine, HOW TO DRINK NATURAL WINE and YOU HAD ME AT PÉT-NAT. She founded Pipette Magazine, a cult print publication about natural wine which released ten issues.
Pipette Magazine’s global reach led Rachel to offer boutique wine tours in Italy from 2019 onward, bringing the natural wine-curious into deep encounters with producers.
Rachel’s Substack newsletter, LA MESCITA [Italian for “the pour”], offers twice-weekly writing about natural wine to over 5000 subscribers around the world.
Originally from the U.S., since 2018 Rachel Signer has called Australia’s Adelaide Hills home, while nurturing a long-distance relationship with Italy. Rachel made natural wine and vermouth under the label Cleopatra Wines for six years.
