Ram is the co-founder of Butter and Toast, a bakehouse in the heart of North Adelaide and at Adelaide farmers market every Sunday.
Born in Nepal, Ram started his baking journey at Bourke St Bakery, Sydney when he arrived in Australia, learning the foundations of sourdough production.
After moving to Adelaide, he furthered his knowledge with Dough and Uraidla Bakery and started Butter and Toast with Thy in 2018, combining both their skills to specialise in making sourdough doughnuts.
Ram loves to experiment with all bread and baked goods, with his latest one taking on the challenge of making panettone. He hopes to continue learning and share his love as a baker with the Adelaide community for years to come.
