Rob Cain established Cain Wines for the 2024 vintage, marking the beginning of a project shaped by both technical expertise and a deep-rooted passion for wine. He holds a Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology from the University of Adelaide and has built his experience across both vineyard and winery operations at Murdoch Hill in the Adelaide Hills. 

Rob has also completed multiple vintages in Burgundy, further refining his craft in one of the world’s most revered wine regions. 

Raised in Adelaide within a family passionate about food and wine, Rob’s interest in the industry was fostered from an early age. Family travels exploring renowned wine regions across Australia and internationally further cemented his dedication to a career in wine.
