Adam was born in Adelaide to Lebanese migrant parents and grew up in her father’s fruit and vegetable business. A love of food was sparked very early.
After spending 15 years pursuing a corporate career Adam took a leap and appeared on MasterChef Australia, where she solidified her love for food and cooking. On leaving the show she and her siblings pursued a long-held dream, opening a Middle Eastern-inspired café – The Middle Store – and sharing their love of Lebanese food and hospitality.
Greatly influenced by the food her mother would make growing up, as head chef Adam bases her menu on memories of childhood meals and family gatherings. This, coupled with her love of baking, has meant that her menu is homely and from the heart. Adam is currently penning her first cookbook of meals and baking inspired by family and friends.
