FRIDAY 6 MAY

Your weekend will begin at one of Adelaide’s finest supermarkets: Pasadena Foodland, an award-winning hospitality and retail innovation hub. The Pasadena Foodland Locale Food Tour will see you learning from the experts while enjoying generous tastings of the finest international and South Australian produce, then sitting down to a lavish chef’s table lunch.

Continue your Adelaide city expedition with the University of Adelaide’s The Noodle Cup. Top chefs Morgan McGlone and Victor Leong are poised to take the beloved student classic – cup noodles – to the next level at this fun and free event offering satisfying dishes for only $5 each. Settle in and feast for the afternoon.

On Friday evening, gather the knowledge collected through your day’s travels and get your brain into gear for Quiz: Food Glorious Food. This fun-filled evening at the Old Collegians Rugby Union Football Club will test your culinary wisdom, with platters and wine to share and plenty of prizes to please your palate.

SATURDAY 7 MAY

Start your Saturday in the idyllic Adelaide Hills with a trip to the all-new Grunthal Brew – home to Udder Delights Cheese Cellar – for the Easy Cheesy Home Cheese Making Class. Be prepared for a hands-on experience in this masterclass; you’ll craft your own feta, learn to make camembert and turn whey into ricotta.

Continue your educational adventure in the afternoon with a visit to the University of Adelaide Masterclass Pavilion in Town Square, Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga. Super Claret: The Great Australian Red will explore the dazzling blend of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz that is claret, with Yalumba winemaker Kevin Glastonbury set to lead a discussion paying homage to rare, famous clarets made in South Australia.

Top and tail your masterclass experience by getting comfortable and soaking up the atmosphere of Town Square. This culinary hub buzzes daily with celebration of South Australia at its harvest peak, offering diverse dinner options from food vendors and beverages sure to impress.

What better way to continue the Saturday night festivities than a Super-Natural Wine Party? Held in a secret warehouse just a 10-minute walk from Town Square, it will serve hits and unreleased natural wines from some of the state’s finest winemakers – all soundtracked by some of Adelaide’s best musicians and DJs.

SUNDAY 8 MAY

There’s a grenache revival under way – and we suggest visiting Yangarra Estate Vineyard in McLaren Vale on Sunday (after a well-deserved sleep-in!) for The Rise and Versatility of Grenache with Yangarra's Peter Fraser. Savour an exploration of the versatile variety and its increasing popularity as you taste through the diverse expressions of grenache. Tasting Australia co-festival director Karena Armstrong and The Salopian Inn will curate the day’s dishes. Your ticket includes a return transfer from Town Square, allowing you to relax and savour the day’s drops.
