Originally from Tasmania, Alice began their hospitality career at the acclaimed Stillwater Restaurant, where a respect for seasonal produce, thoughtful service, and dining-room craft shaped their early approach to hospitality. This foundation led to a career spanning 20 years in the industry including 10 years in senior restaurant management roles.
They have worked across some of Australia's most respected dining rooms, including Epocha, Lume, Attica and Fred's, earning a reputation for calm leadership, refined service and genuine hospitality. Alice served as Restaurant Manager at Attica during its three-hat period, contributing to the delivery of service at the highest level of Australian fine dining.
In 2025 Alice opened Corner 75 with her husband, Daniel Puskas and co-owners, Alex Kelly & Jean-Paul El Tom of Baba's Place.
Corner 75 is a 40 year old Hungarian restaurant and a Sydney institution. Alice manages the restaurant and the Central and Eastern European wine program, bringing focus and depth to a region-driven list that complements the restaurant's Hungarian heritage.
Holding certifications from WSET and the Court of Masters Sommeliers, Alice brings deep beverage knowledge alongside a people-first management style. Their work has been recognised through service award nominations from SMH Good Food and Gourmet Traveller.
