Super Freak at Fino

The Freak is coming to Fino. This riesling immersion will feature in-depth vertical tastings from acclaimed Barossa label Rieslingfreak, together with a selection of international standouts from Rieslingfreak’s Family Cellar and a four-course Riesling inspired lunch.

Expect produce and rieslings from the Eden and Clare valleys, together with the subregions of Polish Hill River and Flaxman Valley. Consider the evolution of Rieslingfreak, founded by John Hughes in 2009 and run together with his partner Belinda Hughes. Its range takes inspiration from traditional German styles, adding a South Australian influence to create a range uniquely of its region. Awards continue to flow, among them Barossa Winemaker of the Year 2021 and 2022 People’s Choice Producer of the Year from wine retailer Different Drop.
