A bold celebration of native Australian ingredients is coming to Morphettville this May as part of Tasting Australia 2026 program, with Taste Country: Native Flavours, Local Wines offering a truly immersive culinary experience.

Hosted by acclaimed chef Andrew Fielke AM in the Platinum Lounge at Morphettville on Saturday, May 16, guests will be taken on a guided, multi-course journey that explores the richness of native Australian flavours — from finger lime and lemon myrtle to wattleseed, kangaroo and quandong.

Designed as a sensory experience, the event features shared dishes, raw ingredient tastings and expert storytelling, with Fielke guiding guests step-by-step through each course. Every dish is thoughtfully paired with premium South Australian wines, celebrating the very best of the state’s produce and winemaking.

With decades of experience and a pioneering role in modern native Australian cuisine, Fielke will bring his passion and expertise to this one-day-only event — blending flavour, culture and technique in a dynamic and unforgettable setting.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION –

Accessible parking and drop off: Four accessible parking spots located within the members carpark off Morphett Road.
Accessible toilets: Six Accessible toilets located within the Wolf Blass Events Centre. This includes: two female and two male ambulant toilets with handrails along with two wheelchair Accessible toilets with handrails, sensor activated taps and baby changing tables.
Wheelchair access: No ramps or lifts are required to access the event venue.
