Virtual reality and real-world flavour will fuse in this innovative event curated by the Alliance Française Adelaide.

Immersive virtual reality technology is set to take guests inside the kitchens of Michelin-starred French chef Hélène Darroze and Japanese sushi master Yumi Chiba. The duo will guide guests through a series of culinary masterpieces, with their two 10-minute video pieces to be complemented by two tasting-size dishes – one savoury, one sweet – prepared by a South Australian chef inspired by the global stars. Wine will be paired to both entrée-sized plates.

This Tasting Australia event will begin with a vibrant mocktail to awaken the palate, followed by the screening and tasting bites. It promises a multi-sensory journey celebrating world-class gastronomy while highlighting the remarkable quality of local produce – a truly cutting-edge experience.
