The Adelaide Hills Chardonnay Heroes Dinner is a signature celebration of one of Australia’s most acclaimed wine varieties — Chardonnay — brought to life in the heart of the Adelaide Hills at the iconic Mount Lofty House.

This elegant evening will showcase the region’s most celebrated Chardonnay producers through a guided masterclass and paired dinner, hosted by acclaimed wine writer Nick Ryan.

Guests will experience a captivating journey through styles, vintages and vineyards that define the Adelaide Hills as one of the nation’s leading cool-climate regions.

Guests will begin the evening with a Blanc de Blancs sparkling on arrival, followed by a guided multi-bracket tasting of exceptional Adelaide Hills Chardonnays — each representing different sub-regions, winemaking approaches, and vintages.

Nick Ryan will lead the masterclass with his trademark insight and humour, joined by several of the region’s winemakers, sharing personal stories behind their wines.

The tasting will flow into a three-course dinner created by the Mount Lofty House culinary team, crafted around the region’s finest South Australian produce — think locally sourced produced and artisan cheese. Each dish will be thoughtfully matched to showcase Chardonnay’s diversity and food-pairing elegance.
