The power of community can take us by surprise. Support? Sure. But at best these villages also offer education and inspiration, driving a new generation forward.
Tasting Australia’s first Industry Day will unite local and visiting food and beverage leaders for a series of crucial conversations. It’s all on the table: career paths, the importance of diversity and inclusion, mental health and much more. Working in hospitality – or on your way? Welcome. There’s room for everyone as we highlight joys, challenges and what the future holds.
The day will begin with coffee, followed by two panel sessions and a light lunch. A further two sessions are set to take place in the afternoon, with drinks and networking to follow.
Tasting Australia co-drinks curators Meira Harel and Banjo Harris Plane will lead this event, which is taking place in Town Square’s University of Adelaide Masterclass Pavilion. Also sharing insights: industry identities including Claudette Zepeda, Jo Barrett, Sharon Romeo, Darren Robertson, James Spreadbury, Samantha Connew, Mitch Orr, Katie Spain, Sebastian Crowther MS, Emma McCaskill, Greta Wohlstadt, Anais Gschwind and John Carty
