Beachside shack it may be, but make no mistake: this Fleurieu Peninsula favourite offers one of the state’s standout dining experiences. What began as a test kitchen for forays into new pipi dishes and local indigenous ingredients today welcomes diners who love its seasonal seafood and beautifully insouciant energy. Chefs Vanessa Button and Brendan Roach trained in leading restaurants before heeding the call of the coast. Their restaurant is tucked beside Goolwa sand dunes, flanked by the Coorong to its south and with an expanse of ocean as muse.
