Located in the heart of Mount Gambier, The South Australian Hotel is a heritage-listed establishment that has proudly served the community since 1860.
Following a meticulous 12-month renovation completed in early 2024, the hotel seamlessly blends historic charm with modern design.
Upcycled materials from the original venue were integrated throughout the space, resulting in a unique, sustainable fit-out that reflects its legacy and future.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION –
- Accessible parking and drop off: Five accessible parking spaces onsite with an accessible drop off located in front of the reception.
- Accessible toilets: Two accessible toilets available onsite with railing.
- Wheelchair access: Event is located on the ground floor of the venue making it completely accessible for wheelchair users.
- Quiet space: While non designated quiet room will be available onsite, quiet zones can be found way from the event in the reception foyer or behind the bar.
- Assistance animal facilities: Water bowls for assistance animals are available onsite along with a grassed area attached to the beer garden.
