Some of the Adelaide Hills’ most exciting chardonnay producers are joining together for a night where this noble grape variety takes centre stage.

Across four courses, eight producers will move through the room, joining a new group of guests with each course to chat and share stories behind the wine. Think of it as musical chairs, but with world-class chardonnay and far better conversation.

Chef John Simpson-Clements has created a four-course degustation celebrating peak seasonal South Australian produce. Every dish will be served alongside two premium Adelaide Hills chardonnays, showcasing the diversity of the region, from Lenswood to the Piccadilly Valley and beyond.

• Vella Wines

And for a little mischief: every wine will be poured blind.

No labels. No hints. Not even the producers know what’s in the glass.

They’ll tell their tales, you’ll make bold guesses, and bragging rights are definitely on the line.
