A Rhône Exploration with Yangarra x La Louisiane

Step into the vines for a sensory journey through Yangarra Estate, an organic and biodynamic vineyard in the north-eastern pocket of McLaren Vale. 

Guided by French winemaker Guillaume Camougrand, guests will explore the estate on foot, discovering the story and significance of the Rhone and Mediterranean varieties that thrive in this distinctive landscape. 

As you wander between the blocks, you’ll pause for three exquisitely crafted dishes by Alexis Besseau, executive chef of city French restaurant La Louisiane – one canapé and two small plates. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with one of Yangarra’s expressive drops, highlighting the distinct flavour profiles between plate and glass.

This intimate experience blends terroir, taste and storytelling – a chance to connect with the land and the people shaping South Australia’s wine identity. A relaxed and enlightening way to spend a day among the vines.
