Join Jessie Spiby for a seasonal lunch prepped with specialties from her My Grandma Ben Pickle Co range. Discover how these bottled beauties can level up your home recipes, and why you need to swap out generic salt for the good stuff.   

Spiby first captured our attention on MasterChef Australia, following time on television with the 2018 launch of her Bowden café My Grandma Ben. Its ethos? Generous, flavour-packed food that brings people together, curbs waste and celebrates local fruit and veg. A passion for preserving and fermenting – long at the heart of Spiby’s work – was the genesis of her own pickle brand, now stocked in a range of Adelaide delis and cafés. 

An expert from Olsson’s will also feature in this Good Neighbour lunch, explaining how pure Spencer Gulf seawater becomes the salt flakes on your kitchen table. 

Pickle afficionado? These are your people, and we’ve saved you a seat.
