Meet your match in these casual tastings. Each features a diverse lineup of winemakers from South Australia and further afield, ready to chat all things variety, vintage and very excellent vino. Treat it like speed dating: five minutes in conversation, then a chance to strike up a chat elsewhere.
Riesling might be MVP of the wine world. Its ability to pair with food is legendary. Its array of styles offers an option for all palates. Is there anything this German export can’t do? Unlikely.
Eight delicious rieslings are set to feature here.
Star Sydney-based sommelier Caitlyn Rees will be among riesling fans sharing their favourites. She’s been named the nation’s best by Gourmet Traveller, worked across a host of hot restaurants and is now wine buyer and sommelier at Fratelli Paradiso.
Riesling flourishes in South Australia, and this session will spotlight seven local winemakers with bottles you need to try. Chat with Gentle Folk’s Gareth Belton, based at Basket Range in the Adelaide Hills, together with Kyatt Dixon of Limus Wine on the Limestone Coast.
